About

Heather studied abroad in Toowoomba, Australia at the University of Southern Queensland. Upon graduating from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Health & Human Development, she moved back to Australia to live and work. When it was time to return home to Seattle, Heather continued to pursue her passion of international travel and cultural exchange through volunteer work in Peru, Trinidad, and China. The experiences she gained from the opportunities she created were invaluable and changed her life for the better. Now having traveled to more than 20 countries on five continents (with a growing list of new places to visit), it brings her great joy to be a part of a team that promotes, facilitates, and celebrates international experiences both on and off Western’s campus.

Some of her favorite activities (besides travel) are playing and watching sports, especially soccer, hiking with her pup, SUPing, sailing, photography, and hanging out with friends and family.
